Creating a Mesmerizing Glow in the Dark

At first glance, flAVATAR - Magical Flowers appear to be ordinary flowers. However, when night falls and other flowers fade into darkness, flAVATARs come alive with a vibrant glow. The treated cut flowers and potted plants emit a beautiful green, light blue, indigo, red, or white glow that lasts for up to 30 minutes, depending on the charging level. Simply place the flAVATARs in a dark area after charging, and watch as they illuminate the night.

What sets flAVATARs apart is their unique properties. The treated plants are designed to glow in the dark, creating a captivating and enchanting display. After the initial glow fades, the plants continue to emit a muted white light for another 4-5 hours, providing a subtle and ethereal ambiance.

The realization of the flAVATAR design relies on patented technology. The treatment process uses 100 percent plant-based ingredients that are safe for both the environment and living beings. The substance used to treat the plants is free from gene manipulations, ensuring the integrity of the natural world.

Creating the flAVATARs was not without its challenges. Richard Kun and his team had to develop a cost-effective, 100 percent natural, and invisible treatment substance that would not harm the plants. Through extensive research and experimentation, they were able to achieve a stable coexistence between the treatment substance and the plants.

The flAVATAR project began in June 2014 in Budapest, Hungary, and was completed in June 2016. The team successfully created flAVATARs in five different colors, adding variety and vibrancy to their glowing creations.

Recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, the flAVATAR design received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017.
